Why is pricing custom?
Journals vary enormously — a brand-new title launching its first issue has very different needs from a 30-year-old society publication with 5,000 back articles. Custom pricing means you only pay for what fits.
Are there per-submission or per-article fees?
No. Submit, review, and publish as much as you want. Pricing is by the journal, not the activity inside it.
Is migration really free?
Yes. We import articles, issues, authors, references and DOIs from OJS, Scholastica, Janeway, ScholarOne, or any custom system. Included on every paid plan.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. Your data, URLs, and DOIs are preserved through any plan change.
Do you offer non-profit discounts?
Yes. University presses, learned societies, and open-access non-profits qualify for reduced pricing. Tell us about your organization in the contact form.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Starter plan is completely free with no card required. Upgrade only when you outgrow it.
